Experience the Benefits of Cleaner Air in Your Home or Business

You probably don’t want to think about what’s lurking in your air ducts. You may have noticed the effects of poor indoor air quality—worsening allergies, respiratory issues, or a musty smell when your HVAC system kicks on. Here are just a few of the benefits of hiring us as professional air duct cleaners for your home or business:

Lower utility bills

Better respiratory health for yourself, your family, or your customers

Prevent damage to your HVAC system by catching issues early

Southern Colorado's Best Air Duct Cleaning Company

As the best air duct cleaning company in Colorado Springs, Planet Duct has taken air duct cleaning to a new, intergalactic level. Our techniques and equipment are more powerful and proactive than anything else on the market in southern Colorado. As NADCA-certified air duct cleaners, we are not your average discount or coupon duct cleaning trucks. We always ensure that YOU get the duct cleaning you need to breathe healthy, clean air.

So, take all prior expectations of duct cleaning and launch them straight into orbit. Planet Duct’s powerful trucks have the suction and agitation to collect dust, debris, microbial growth, and more from your HVAC system. Ready to blast those allergens into the cosmos? We are a trusted leader for Colorado, and we bring the vacuum power of space straight to you!

Our Indoor Air Quality Services

Air Duct Cleaning

Planet Duct specializes in top-quality air duct cleaning in Colorado Springs. Our pneumatic agitation tools are powered by our duct truck (or airship, as we call it). Your dust, dirt, and debris will be transported through our 8- and 10-inch suction hoses to the truck with suction you would swear is stronger than the vacuum of space.

Dryer Vent Cleaning

We also provide dryer vent cleaning at Planet Duct, a service that should be done yearly to prevent dryer vent fires, prolong the life of your dryer, and shorten clothes drying times. Clogged dryer vents are the #1 cause of home fires in the United States. We have special pricing on dryer vent cleaning when we combine it with an air duct cleaning service.

AC Coil Cleaning

We fully consider how your HVAC system functions. That’s why we offer AC and condenser coil (wet-method) cleaning to restore lost airflow and unit efficiency. The AC coil cleaning will also remove biofilm and other airborne contaminants from the coils. This improves the longevity of your system, along with your quality of air.

AC Duct Sealing

Drafty air ducts let in dirt, debris, and other contaminants, but they also affect the efficiency of your whole HVAC system. At Planet Duct, we offer two high-quality duct sealing options—Duct Armor and Aeroseal—that will help your ducts stay clean while saving you money. Duct sealing can even lengthen the lifespan of your HVAC system!

Air Duct Treatments

Sometimes, an out-of-this-world duct cleaning isn’t enough to remove all contaminants from your air ducts. If we find mold or there’s a high risk of viruses and bacteria spreading through your duct system, we may also suggest an air duct treatment. Air duct treatments deodorize and disinfect your ductwork, so you and your customers can breathe easy.

Our Air Duct Cleaning Process

As a NADCA-certified air duct cleaning specialist in Colorado Springs, Planet Duct has the right stuff to clean your ducts, dryer vents, and AC coils. We use a powerful vacuum truck that pulls 13,000 CFM (cubic feet per minute) of airflow to remove dust particles and debris from your ventilation system.

We can also clean your ducts with our Hypervac 220 portable system that pulls 5000 CFM. We will use the Hypervac in homes and buildings where the furnace is farther from the driveway or is attic-mounted. The Hypervac allows us to clean any HVAC system on any building floor.

Our crew members are highly trained to give your air ducts a cleaning that is out of this world. Here’s what to expect:

  1. First, we’ll use our powerful systems to blow the dust and other matter from your duct vents to the trunk lines, which is your home’s central ductwork line.
  2. The trunk lines will then be cleaned using air whips, directional nozzles, and rotary brush systems. These air duct cleaning tools will push the particulate matter toward the vacuum hose and out of your home.
  3. The ducts will be masked, and each side of the system will be isolated to achieve the best possible airflow and suction.
  4. Our certified air duct cleaning specialists will clean the return drop, blower wheel, and filter compartment using pneumatic tools and by hand-wiping those areas with a natural cleaner.
  5. After the system has been cleaned and re-sealed, we will do a free carbon monoxide check to ensure that your system does not have other safety issues. We will provide our readings and, if necessary, refer you to a trusted licensed HVAC company.

Depending on the size of your home and project scope, professional air duct cleaning typically takes about 3-5 hours to remove all of the dirt, debris, and damaging items that can be found in your air ducts.
