Good afternoon, I’m Brandon Kirk and I’m the owner of Planet Duct Air Duct Cleaning here in Colorado Springs. I know a lot of people are getting concerned about this Coronavirus and how it’s going to affect things, so we are taking precautions here at our shop and in our vehicles to keep ourselves and our clients healthy. So a couple things we’re doing:
Three Precautions Planet Duct Takes Daily
- Whenever everyone arrives here at work, before they’re allowed to touch anything, they go straight to the wash room and wash their hands upon arrival. We wipe down all the surfaces in the shop, all the door handles, all the light switches — everything that we would touch.
- We do the same things with our vehicles. We wipe down the steering wheels everyday, we wipe down the door handles, and on the job when we are finishing a job we’re gonna spray down our tools: our wands, our stair tools, our poultry tools, we’re going to spray those down — and then those are also wiped down with Sporicidin which kills viruses, mold, bacteria — it’s very very effective. So we’re doing that to keep everyone healthy.
- In addition to that, while we’re not here in the shop –either at night or while our technicians are out — we are running hydroxyl generators in our shop 24/7. It’s literally air-washing everything in our shop with hydroxyls which kill viruses and bacteria, 99.9% effective. So even if we’re not here in the shop, our stuff is basically being disinfected, keeping it to be a safe place for our people to work and for our tools to be stored here in the shop.
